Project Overview

The nurse suite at Boston Higashi School was designed to improve workflow efficiency and address storage needs beyond the current space. Key goals include creating clear safety boundaries to protect student privacy and health while also enhancing the operational flow for nursing staff. The design incorporates dedicated areas for medication storage, examination, and nursing stations to streamline care delivery. This setup supports students who require regular medication or who become ill by providing a calm, welcoming environment that facilitates quick, private, and safe nursing care, thereby improving the overall experience and care quality for students on the autism spectrum at the school.
